The Sylvan Shores neighborhood in West Ashley is between Savannah Highway and the Intracostal Waterway south of the end of I-526. The Sylvan Shore neighborhood is accessed by Mutual Drive from Savannah Highway. The Sylvan Shores neighborhood includes all of the streets that intersect with Mutual Drive, and its northern boundary is Two Oaks and Eades Lane, the eastern and southern boundary is Pristine Drive, and the western boundary is the Intracostal Waterway. The Sylvan Shores neighborhood has approximately 229 homes. The majority of the homes are traditional brick ranch homes. Most of the homes are situated on small to mid size lots with some mature Live Oak trees. Some of the homes on Pristine Drive have private docks. Sylvan Shores neighborhood consists primarily of individual homeowners.
The majority of the homes were built from 1980 to the present. There are approximately 229 homes in the Sylvan Shore neighborhood today. The home values range from $200,000 to $400,000 with a few Million dollar plus homes on the Intracostal Waterway and their size ranges from 1,500 to 3,500 square feet. During the past six months 8 homes have come on the market ranging form $125,000 to $299,000 and 5 homes have sold, or are under contract during the same period ranging from $299,000 to $1,000,000
